History of Roulette

Roulette simply means ‘small wheel’ in French but although the wheel may be small the fun and excitement are super-sized.

Roulette can trace its history back to 18th century France when it was invented by a famous mathematician, Blaise Pascal.

The game has evolved over time and even today there are three different versions of Roulette that are commonly played; American, British and French. In essence, all are the same but each has the odd distinctive rule.
